DR. SURAJ R. SWARNA
Dr. Swarna obtained his MBBS in
Prosthodontics in Crown and Bridge Implantology from A.B. Shetty
Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Bangalore in September 2002. He
has been appointed as Dental Surgeon and will be conducting his OPDs
on Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
DR. SASWATA RAY
Dr. Ray obtained his Masters Degree in
Ophthalmology from Guru Nanak Eye Centre, a prestigious Eye Centre at
New Delhi. He is a Fellow of Aravindo Eye Hospital, Madurai and
specialized in Cornea and
anterior Segment. He has five years of post MS experience. He has done
extensive work in interior segment surgery including trauma cases. He
has also undergone training in LASIK. Dr. Ray is available for
consultation in the Evening OPD on Monday and Thursday from 6 p.m. to
8 p.m.
DR. FARRUKH FARAZ
Dr. Faraz did his graduation in Dental
Surgery in year 1997 and subsequently obtained MDS in Periodontis in
July 2002. He has been a merit scholarship holder and has been awarded a
number of merit certificates during the graduation as well as post
graduation. He is available in the Evening OPD on Monday and Friday.
DR. CHANDAN KUMAR CHOWDHARY
Dr. Chowdhary obtained his Graduate
Medical Degree (MBBS) in 1992. Thereafter in 1999 he did his M.S. in
General Surgery from B.J. Medical College, Gujrat. Subsequently obtained
super specialization in Genito Urinary Surgery from the same college and
was awarded Gold Medal for outstanding performance. He has considerable
experience in Endo Urological procedures like PCML, TUR, URS etc. He has
special interest in Reconstructive Urology Endology, Paediatric and Onco
Urology. He has considerable experience in Uro Dynamic study. He is
available on Wednesday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m..
DR. SUMIT PRASAD
Dr.
Sumit Prasad has been appointed on Courtesy Attachment. Dr. Prasad
obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1987
from Patna Medical College, Thereafter he did his M.S. in General
Surgery from Darbhanga Medical College & Hospital, Bihar in 1993.
Dr. Sumit Prasad is a general surgeon with special interest in
Laparoscopic GI and Vascular Surgery. He has 10 years post MS
experience.
DR.
MANEESH GUPTA
Dr.
did his MBBS from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur. Therefore he obtained
his MD in Psychiatry from King George Medical College, Lucknow in June
1999. He was awared Gold Medal in his MD examination. He has also
obtained the Degree of Diplomate of Natioanl Board (DNB) (Psychiatry)
from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi in November 1999. He is
available on Monday and Thursday from 12 noon to 2 p.m.

The Drug Information Center is primarily concerned with
pharmaceutical advice and consultation regarding therapy. The center is equipped
with a database software consolidated drug information for the drug
therapy of individual patients and publishes a bimonthly news letter
pharmacy practice update.
The specious basement has been renovated and now houses an air-conditioned
Rehabilitation Center. The Center is equipped with state of the art like
Combination Therapy, Laser Therapy, Medium Frequency Therapy,
Therapeutic Ultrasound, Heat Therapy Radarmed 950 (Holland), Manumed
Special Tilt (Holland), CPM upper extremity and lower extremity
(Holland), Electrical muscle stimulator, Traction, Hydro Collator Pack,
Weight cuffs and dumbbells, Stairs and Ramp, Multi exercise chair etc.
The Center is headed by Formed Professor and Head, Department of
Orthopaedics, AIIMS. Other staff members are all post-graduates in
Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy. The Center also trains the students
of Bachelor and Master of Physio and Occupational Therapy of Jamia
Hamdard.
