Important Notice for Students

1.      Jamia Hamdard has no provision for accommodation for married students who wish to stay with their family. Only single   accommodation will be provided. If any student who is married and wants to bring his/her family with him/her, he/she has to     make his/her own arrangement for accommodation outside of the campus. For a married student who intends to bring his/her family with him/her, it would be appropriate to arrange a suitable accommodation outside in advance, before he/she brings his/her family.

2.      Only OPD consultation in Majeedia Hospital will be available free of cost to students (both Indian and International). University  will not be responsible for bearing the cost of any medicine/test etc.

3.      International students, in particular are advised to have proper vaccination against known infections before they come to India.

4.      International students should have medical insurance cover before they join the University. This has to be done by the student  himself/herself.

5.      Indian students are also advised to have insurance cover to meet expenses on their treatment, if needed.
