General Information
- Register your college team online at www.jamiahamdard.edu or www.jamiahamdard.ac.in
- Each team should bring a letter from their University on the University letterhead and college identification cards.
- Registration fee is as follows:
- Indian Colleges/University Rs. 500 (upto 6 participants) with an additional fee of Rs. 100 per extra participant. (Max team size: 8)
- Foreign University $50 (upto 6 participants) with an additional fee of $10 per extra participant. (Max team size: 8)
- Teams that register online need to submit the registration desk on 3rd November 2007.
- Please inform us in advance if you require accommodation. Teams from outside Delhi & NCR will be given preference.
Technical Events
Dark Coding (Overnight Programming)
This event tests programming skills in C++. Teams will have to code an application overnight.

Web Doodle (Overnight Web Application Design)
The participants will be given a theme, a round which they have to model their website overnight.

The participants will be tested for their C++ programming skills.

Who Dares Win (Area Of Specialization)
Test your expertise in an area of your choice, Choices include C, Object oriented programming, DBMS, Operating Systems and Data Structures.

Envision (New Software Idea)
Team need to submit a written proposal and give a presentation on a new software idea.
Rules
· Each team is required to submit an abstract.
· The participating teams have to submit the abstracts of their paper by 31th October 2007.
· The abstract should contain:
-Idea of the software
-A basic overview of the implementation and working of the software.
· The abstract may be sent through email to nerdz@jamiahamdard.ac.in or by post with subject “ENVISION ABSTRACT”.
· Participants shall be responsible for any delay in delivery.
· Four teams would be selected for final presentation.
· The selected teams would be announced during “erudition” on 3rd November.
· The selected teams are required to contact the organizers on 3rd November so that they can be briefed about the order of presentations and any other queries sorted.
· Time duration for final presentation will be 15 minutes and 5 minutes for question answer session. Extra time may lead to deduction in marks.
· Final presentation can be made using an over head projector or an LCD.
· The participants may bring their presentation in floppy or CD.
· The teams shall be judged on the basis of originality, practicality, feasibility of idea and the presentation style.
· Judges decisions are to be considered final.
Crack The Shell (Shell Programming)
The participants would be tested for their shell programming skills in UNIX.
