The Civil Services Coaching Programme at JHRCA has been designed to prepare aspirants for all three stages of the Civil Services Examination — Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and the Personality Test. The programme emphasizes a balanced approach combining conceptual learning, structured testing, analytical skill development, and personality development.

Previous Year Question Analysis

ADMISSION PROCESS
Admission to the Civil Services Coaching Programme at Jamia Hamdard Residential Coaching Academy is conducted through a transparent and merit-based selection process, designed to identify motivated and committed aspirants. A national test followed by personal interaction is the method adopted.
Candidates who have completed or are appearing in the final year of their Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university are eligible to apply.
The upper age limit for admission is 28 years as on 01-01-2026
Admissions are presently open on a first come first serve basis to the following:

had appeared in CSE mains in 2024 or 2025
-
had qualified for the Personality Test (Interview) in CSE 2024 or 2025
-
are currently writing the mains of any of the State Civil services exam
The applicant can write an email to JHRCA seeking admission on the prescribed form alongwith relevant documents for proof.( On clicking will open the application form and list of documents).
COURSE DURATION
12 Months
The programme is conducted as a full-time residential programme, enabling aspirants to pursue focused and disciplined preparation within the academic environment of Jamia Hamdard.
The session runs from June of a year to May of the next year.
FEE STRUCTURE
COURSE FEE: NIL for meritorious aspirants from low income groups; Rs 2500 per month for the rest.
Hostel & Mess Charges : Hostel fee of Rs 5000 to be paid on a monthly basis for. Mess Charges as applicable (currently Rs 3000 per month).
Security : to cover hostel, mess, library, wi-fi use, one time security deposit of Rs 10,000 will be payable. This deposit is fully refundable, subject to no dues certificate from all concerned.

METHODOLOGY AND COURSE CONTENT
The courses will offer the following for all the above-mentioned options

6.access to resolution of any queries round the clock. (like exam pattern, doubt in any topic etc.)
7.regular OMR-based tests on the pattern of State PCS-J/APO Prelims and rigorous Mains answer writing practice with personalized, detailed feedback.
8.special sessions focusing on the framing of charges, settlement of issues, and judgment writing for both civil and criminal cases.
9.regular debates on contemporary legal issues and landmark Supreme Court judgments

All courses are open on a full/part time basis. Those seeking a hostel will be treated as on full time basis and will be subject to JHRCA, Jamia Hamdard University regulations
COURSE DURATION & ELIGIBILITY
Judicial Service Examination (JSE)
Duration: 14 Months with effect from 01-04-2026
Total number of seats: 75
Eligibility
i) those in their third, fourth and final year of law graduation
ii) those who possess a bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B. / B.A. LL.B.) from any university recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
iii) those who have made it to the main examination stage of any State Judicial or Law officer Course in the last two years i.e. 1-1-2024 onwards will be given preference.
Age: Not exceeding 30 years as on 1-1-2026.
Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO)
Duration: 14 months with effect from 01-04-2026 if chosen with JSE; 10 months if chosen on a stand alone basis.
Eligibility
i) those in their third, fourth and final year of law graduation
ii) those who possess a bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B. / B.A. LL.B.) from any university recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
iii) those who have made it to the main examination stage of any State Law officer Course in the last two years i.e. 1-1-2024 onwards will be given preference.
Age: Not exceeding 30 years as on 1-1-2026.
CLAT-LLM/DU-LLM
Duration: 14 months if chosen with JSE; 6 months if chosen on a stand alone basis,with effect from 15-04-2026
Eligibility
i) Candidates in their third, fourth and final year of law graduation can apply.
ii)The applicant who possesses a bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B. / B.A. LL.B.) from any university recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
iii) Age: Not exceeding 30 years as on 1-1-2026.
UPSC Civil Service (Law Optional)
Duration course 12 Months with effect from 01-05-2026.
Eligibility
i) those in their third, fourth and final year of law graduation can apply.
ii) those who possess a bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B. / B.A. LL.B.) from any university recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
iii) those who have made it to the CSE preliminary or the main stage of any State Judicial/Law officer examination in the last two years i.e. 1-1-2024 onwards will be given preference.
iii) Age: Not exceeding 30 years as on 1-1-2026.

All fees are payable in three equal installments.
For instance, the fee for JSE of Rs Rs 1,15,000 shall be payable as follows:
Rs 40,000 at the time of admission.

LIBRARY AND HOSTEL FACILITIES

Dedicated Library (24x7): An air-conditioned library equipped with an extensive collection of standard books, bare acts, magazines, newspapers and legal journals, Supreme Court reporters,etc.. The library remains open 18 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Hostel & Mess Facility: On-campus hostel accommodation is provided to select admitted candidates on a sharing basis with all amenities. The mess facility is open to all hostel residents on payment of nominal charges
