The Directorate of Training, Placement & Alumni Affairs (DTPAA) in association with School of Engineering Sciences and Technology (SEST), Jamia Hamdard, successfully conducted the Alumni Meet 2026 with the objective of strengthening institutional engagement with its alumni and enhancing collaborative opportunities across academic, industry, and research domains. The meet witnessed enthusiastic participation from alumni, faculty, and students, reaffirming the DTPAA’s commitment to nurturing long-term professional and social bonds. Approximately 150 alumni attended the event from across different professional backgrounds such as IT, Engineering, Cyber Security, AI , Entrepreneurship, Consulting, Public Sector, Healthcare Tech, etc. A key highlight of the inaugural program was the dedicated Alumni Experience- Sharing Session, where distinguished alumni spoke about their academic journeys, professional accomplishments, and the pivotal role Jamia Hamdard played in shaping their careers. The session featured diverse insights from their respective fields such as IT services, engineering & public sector. Their narratives not only inspired current students but also emphasized the importance of continuous learning, adaptability, and strong professional ethics.
The Directorate of Training Placement and Alumni Affairs (DTPAA) at Jamia Hamdard (Deemed to be University, New Delhi), is a dedicated department that facilitates industry-academia connect for nurturing meaningful relationships while creating platforms for internships, employment, and other aspirational opportunities for the students of JH. The DTPAA provides support towards aspiration understanding through career counselling, imparting soft skills training to students and offering platforms for exploring career pathways. By closely collaborating with our esteemed faculty and successful alumni, the DTPAA Department forms a strong alliance focused on guiding students through their career journeys. We thoroughly support our students in every aspect of career preparation, which includes crafting unique resumes, conducting regular training sessions, facilitating mock interviews and group discussions, administering aptitude tests, and organizing valuable mentoring sessions led by our accomplished alumni. Additionally, students benefit from hands-on experiences through meaningful interactions with our extensive alumni network and industry leaders. At Jamia Hamdard, the DTPAA is more than just a support system; it is a nurturing ecosystem that promotes the growth and professional development of our students, empowering them to excel in interviews and pursue fulfilling careers.
