Worked in following research projects:

  1. Endline study of pilot project of e-INMCI application “Vridhdhi”. Funded by TDH (Terre des hommes) in Ranchi district. Position: Research Officer. Aim of project: To assess conformance to various IMCI protocols by different stakeholders. To analyze antenatal behavior and childcare by recently became mothers including child vaccination.
  2. Social Network analysis of rural women for modern contraceptive use. Funded by ICRW, New Delhi, India. Position: Research Officer.
  3. Training Need Assessment of PRI on Water, sanitation, hygiene (WASH) in India.Role: Tool preparation, Position: Research Officer.
  4. A Study on MRI Turn-Around Time: This study was conducted in the Radiology Department of Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. Primary data by direct observation was collected.  This study was conducted due to increasing dissatisfaction among patients as well as employees regarding MRI operational efficiency.  In this project delays in MRI appointments were analyzed. The two main etiological factors for delay were machine breakdown and delay in patient shifting, which has a cascading effect on succeeding patients.  In this study, financial loss was also analyzed, and optimal strategies were developed to cope with these problems.
  5. Six Sigma Intervention for Patient Fall at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi:
  6. Description: This project was part of the Six Sigma Green Belt Program. This was a research project regarding patient safety at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in which various statistical tools were utilized to find out the sigma level of patient fall, the etiology of patient falls and development strategies to preventand mitigate patient falls in the hospital.

  7. Dialysis Down Time at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital:
  8. Assisted in this study, downtime of the dialysis machine was calculated. Analysis of causative factors resulting in downtime was done. Also, the revenue loss due to the downtime of machine was calculated. In this study, primary data was collected. Strategies were formulated to reduce the downtime of machines.
