Dr. Sadia Chishty is a distinguished researcher and academician in the field of Food and Nutrition. She holds a Ph.D. in Food and Nutrition, with a specialized focus on Celiac Disease, tribal nutrition and nutrition-associated diseases. Her research has significantly contributed to understanding the unique dietary challenges faced by tribal communities She worked as Consultant dietician at HAHC hospital and Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (HIMSR), Jamia Hamdard.
Currently, Dr. Chishty is Assistant professor at Centre for Nutrition and Dietetics, Jamia Hamdard, where she teaches various courses in the Nutrition. Her teaching portfolio includes subjects such as Therapeutic Nutrition, Advanced Nutrition, Public health nutrition, Nutrigenomic and Human Physiology. With a deep commitment to both research and education, Dr. Chishty is dedicated to advancing knowledge in the areas of nutrition science and its practical applications for public health, particularly in underserved communities.
