I am Assitant Prof at the Department of islamic Studies, Jamia Hamdard,I pursued higher studies in Islamic Studies from Jamia Millia Islamia, where I later completed my Ph.D. on the curriculum and educational system of Indian madrasas. My academic interests include Islamic theology (ʿilm al-kalām), madrasa education and reform, interfaith dialogue, Islamic ethics, Muslim intellectual history, and contemporary Islamic thought.
I have authored, edited, and translated numerous books and research papers in Urdu and English. My works engage critically with issues such as moderation in Islam, Islamic modernism, pluralism, sectarian harmony, reform of religious education, and the intellectual legacy of major Muslim thinkers including al-Ghazali, Shah Waliullah, Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, Muhammad Abduh, and Said Nursi..
I have presented papers at several international conferences and workshops in the United States, Qatar, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Iran, Tajikistan, and across India, collaborating with institutions such as Duke University, University of Notre Dame, and Hamad Bin Khalifa University.
