INTRODUCTION

The Hamdard National Foundation-HECA, India in its meeting held on August 5, 2020, under the chairmanship of Hon?ble Janab Hammad Ahmed, Chief Mutwali, had approved to fund the Hamdard Vocational Educational Center (HVKC), by Jamia Hamdard in Moradabad. The objective is to provide skill-based quality, relevant and technology enabled education at affordable fees to the students of minority and marginalized backward communities. The campus will be fully autonomous and the students residing in the districts of Amroha, Sambhal, Moradabad, Badaun and Rampur will be given priority in admission. Hamdard National Foundation-HECA will purchase land and construct buildings for teaching blocks, sport facilities and hostels for girls. The entire infrastructure will be wifi enabled, energy efficient and environmentally sustainable.

In the first year the HVKC, Moradabad will offer one year Diploma in Food Technology, covering areas under specialization of Fruit processing, Bakery, Dairy products, Meat processing and Apiculture and honey processing. One year Diploma courses in management including Supply Chain Management, Export Import Management, Merchandizing Management. Also, we are planning for online learning centre for BBA, BCA, B. Com and Courses in Information Technology & Diploma in Plant tissue culture and media skill-based courses.

1. To produce students from our institute with quality advanced knowledge who are proficient in the modern-commercial-technical skill-set required for a bright career as a technocrat or as an entrepreneur.
2. To groom the personality of the ward so as to make him a self-dependent, Skilled, technically sound & employed person.
3. To reprocess student?s skill set so as to fetch a job or a career in this job scarce post covid era.
