About Us

Jamia Hamdard Residential Coaching Academy (JHRCA) is a University Grants Commission (UGC) supported academic initiative of Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. JHRCA was established in 2010 with the objective of mentoring and supporting aspirants preparing for the Civil Services Examination(on clicking to lead to CS section) conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). JHRCA functions within the academic and institutional framework of Jamia Hamdard University. Over the years the JHRCA has mentored and contributed to the success of more 250 civil services aspirants, both at the Union level and the States.( on clicking to lead to list of successful candidates) Off late, JHRCA has sought to extend its legacy of excellence to the legal field by offering an exclusive Mentoring Programme for Judicial Services Examinations.(on clicking to lead to JS section) The main thrust of JHRCA programmes is to prepare aspirants from Minority Communities SC, ST, and Women candidates to successfully compete and secure prestigious positions across the civil and judicial set ups at the national and state level. However candidates from other categories are also welcome. The Academy focuses on holistic development, combining in-depth academic support, with personality development interventions.

To strengthen the academic preparation of Civil Services aspirants, Jamia Hamdard Residential Coaching Academy has entered into a collaborative academic arrangement with ForumIAS, a nationally recognized institution specializing in Civil Services Examination preparation. The arrangement is presently for CSE preliminary Examination. The collaboration aims to enhance the quality of academic preparation through the integration of structured learning resources, curated current affairs support, and systematic testing frameworks.

Pahuja Law Academy

JHRCA has entered into a MOU with Pahuja Law Academy, an established mentoring institution for judicial services and its cohorts. The collaboration with PLA will extend to online classes, mentorship and overall preparation of Competitive Exams. Comprehensive classroom teaching for both Preliminary and Mains stages of the Judicial Services, APO, CLAT-LLM/DU-LLM Exams. , covering Substantive Law, Procedural Law, Local State Laws, General Knowledge, and Language papers based on orientation of every exam individually Pahuja Law Academy ( PLA) is a premier national level coaching institute specializing in judicial services examinations, law entrance examinations, and other competitive examinations in the field of law. Contextual and required lectures are conducted by highly qualified law faculty;serving/retired judicial officers, and competent resource persons drawn from the legal field.

CS PROGRAMMES

The Civil Services Coaching Programme at JHRCA has been designed to prepare aspirants for all three stages of the Civil Services Examination — Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and the Personality Test. The programme emphasizes a balanced approach combining conceptual learning, structured testing, analytical skill development, and personality development.

The Academy offers an intensive foundation programme designed to prepare aspirants for the Civil Services Examination through structured classroom learning, analytical discussions, and regular mentoring.

Previous Year Question Analysis

Students are guided through systematic analysis of previous years’ questions in order to understand the evolving pattern and conceptual depth of the Civil Services Examination.

Current Affairs Integration

The programme provides curated academic support for current affairs, enabling aspirants to relate dynamic national and international developments with the static syllabus of the examination.

Structured Testing and Evaluation

Regular tests and evaluation exercises are conducted to help students assess their preparation levels and improve their examination strategy.

Mentorship and Academic Guidance

Students receive continuous mentoring and academic guidance on preparation strategies, answer writing, time management, and examination planning.

Admission Process

Admission to the Civil Services Coaching Programme at Jamia Hamdard Residential Coaching Academy is conducted through a transparent and merit-based selection process designed to identify motivated and committed aspirants.

A national test followed by personal interaction is the method adopted.

Candidates who have completed or are appearing in the final year of their Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university are eligible to apply.

Course Duration

Duration: 12 Months

The programme is conducted as a full-time residential programme enabling aspirants to pursue focused preparation within the academic environment of Jamia Hamdard.

The academic session runs from June of a year to May of the following year.
