ABOUT US

Jamia Hamdard Residential Coaching Academy (JHRCA) is a University Grants Commission (UGC) approved institution founded in 2010 as part of Jamia Hamdard University (on clicking: lead to JHU website)

 Over the years the Academy has mentored and contributed to the success of more 250 civil services aspirants. (on clicking to lead to list of successful candidates)

In recent years the academy has sought to extend its legacy of excellence to the legal field by offering an exclusive Mentoring Programme for Judicial Services Examinations.

The main thrust of the programme is to prepare law graduates from Minority Communities SC, ST, and Women candidates to successfully compete and secure prestigious positions as Civil Judges and Magistrates across various states in India.

However candidates from other categories are also welcome.

The Academy focuses on holistic development, combining in-depth academic support, intensive legal guidance, and personality development interventions.

COLLABORATIONS:

Recently JHRCA has entered into an MOU with Pahuja Law Academy, an established mentoring institution for judicial services and its cohorts. The collaboration with PLA will extend to online classes, mentorship and overall preparation of Competitive Exams. Comprehensive classroom teaching for Preliminary, Mains and Interview Guidance stages of the Judicial Services, APO, CLAT-LLM/DU-LLM Exams covering Substantive Law, Procedural Law, Local State Laws, General Knowledge, and Language papers based on orientation of every exam individually.

Pahuja Law Academy (PLA) is a premier national level coaching institute specializing in judicial services examinations, law entrance examinations, and other competitive examinations in the field of law.

Contextual and subject based requisite lectures are conducted by highly qualified law faculty, serving/retired judicial officers, and competent resource persons drawn from the legal field.

We provide

Intensive foundation program for following courses: -

• Judicial Services Examinations both in English and Hindi medium,

• APO (English/Hindi medium),

• CLAT LLM/DU LLM Entrance Exam,

• UPSC i.e. Civil Services (Law optional)

• Conduct live online classes for all the above mentioned options including one monthly doubt-mentoring session.

• Deliver comprehensive coverage of the prescribed syllabus, including all the exam syllabus based major and minor laws, General Knowledge/General Studies (GK/GS), and Hindi& English Language.

• Emphasize on  conceptual clarity and develop students' answer-writing and analytical skills suitable for Preliminary and Mains examinations.

• Enable students to integrate theoretical knowledge with current legal and empirical developments.

• Provide study material in hard copy, with state-specific material in soft copy format only.

• resolution of any queries round the clock. (like exam pattern, doubt in any topic etc.)

Test Series & Answer Evaluation: Regular OMR-based tests on the pattern of State PCS-J/APO Prelims and rigorous Mains answer writing practice with personalized, detailed feedback.

Judgment Writing Practice: Special sessions focusing on the framing of charges, settlement of issues, and judgment writing for both civil and criminal cases.

Group Discussions: Regular debates on contemporary legal issues and landmark Supreme Court judgments to develop legal acumen, analytical skills, and communication skills.

Dedicated Library: An air-conditioned library equipped with an extensive collection of standard law books, bare acts, legal journals, Supreme Court reporters, and legal databases. The library remains open 18 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Hostel & Mess Facility: On-campus hostel accommodation is provided to select admitted candidates on a sharing basis with all amenities. The mess facility is open to all hostel residents on payment of nominal charges

ADMISSION

Eligibility

• Educational Qualification:

i) Candidates in their third, fourth and final year of law graduation can apply.

ii)The applicant who possesses a bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B. / B.A. LL.B.) from any university recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

iii)Those who have made it to main examination stage of any State Judicial or Law officer Course will be given first preference.

iv) AGE: Not exceeding 30 years as on 1-1-2026.

ADMISSION PROCESS

The applicant can write an email to JHRCA seeking admission based on the eligibility requirement as mentioned above along with documents for proof.(On clicking will open the list which will be similar to one being used for CS). Admissions are currently open on first cum first serve basis. An entrance test will be scheduled soon.

ANURAG SINGH

With over fifteen years of teaching experience and an LL.B. degree from Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, this legal professional possesses extensive expertise having  expertise in Criminal Procedure Code, Civil Procedure Code, Constitutional Law, and the Law of Evidence. The academic profile is further strengthened by twice being interviewed for the IAS and by appearances in various State Judicial Services examinations, reflecting a strong and competitive academic foundation. Significant scholarly contributions include dissertations on narco analysis and the constitutional implications of surrogacy, which demonstrate research depth and analytical proficiency. Additionally, recorded achievements in the UPSC Civil Services Examination and continued pursuits in Judicial Services examinations highlight sustained academic excellence and professional commitment.

MOHD FAIZAN KHAN

He is a dedicated legal educator associated with Pahuja Law Academy, with academic and professional credentials that reflect strong subject-matter expertise in BNSS, BNS, Contract, Limitation, Company Laws. He holds an LL.M. degree from the University of Delhi and is a qualified Company Secretary from the lnstitute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). His academic excellence is evidenced by qualifying the UGC-NET examination and securing the 12th rank in the University of Delhi LL.M. Entrance Examination.

Actively contributing to modern digital education platforms, he has dernonstrated remarkable outreach and impact, achieving over one million views on Unacademy within three months and building a follower base of more than 4,000 within six months. These accomplishments highlight his commitment to innovative teaching and a distinguished professional career.

VIJAY KUMAR SINHA

With over four decades of distinguished experience in legal education, this eminent legal educator holds an LL.B. with distinction from Magadh University and secured 5th rank in B.A. (Honours in Political Science) from Patna University. He has previously served as a faculty member at reputed institutions such as Meridian IAS and Career Center IAS, contributing significantly to the academic development of civil services aspirants. Since 2015, he has been associated with Pahuja Law Academy, Delhi, as the Senior Founder Faculty. His areas of expertise include Public Administration, Political Science and International Relations, and Law, with special emphasis on Constitutional Law and International Law. Among his notable professional accomplishments are the successful representation of over 4,000 Bihar teachers before the Judicial Commission and the procurement of reinstatement orders for university staff. Widely respected for his engaging teaching methodology and rigorous mock interview sessions, he has played a pivotal role in

mentoring and shaping aspiring judicial officers across Bihar, Haryana, and Rajasthan.

ASHISH BANDHU

With eight years of teaching experience, Ashish Bandhu is a seasoned legal professional and a dedicated faculty member at Pahuia Law Academy. He has previously served as a Guest/ Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, where he conducted lectures, seminars, and academic workshops and having expertise in BNSS, Contract, SOGA, Partnership Act, GK and GS. He holds both an LL.B. and an LL.M. degree from the University of Delhi and qualified the UGC NET in Law in 2020. He is also actively engaged

in preparing for and appearing in ludicial Services Examinations.

TANMAYTRIPATHI

A seasoned legal educator with B years of teaching experience, Tanmay Tripathi is an accomplished legal educator and mentor. An alumnus of Amity Law College, Delhi, he holds a Master's degree from Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University, Lucknow. He has taught at reputed institutions including Kirit P. Mehta School of Law, NMIMS (Mumbai and Indore and is currently Faculty of Criminal and Civil Law at Pahuja Law Academy.

He specializes in Civil and Criminal Laws, with in-depth command over the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, and Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, along with Transfer of Property Act, Specific Relief Act, Sale of Goods Act, and Partnership Act. Having appeared in Judiciary examinations across multiple states and twice attempted the UPPCSI Mains, he brings strong exam orientation, conceptual clarity, and judicial insight to his teaching.

NISHANT SHARMA

he holds a B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) degree as a Gold Medalist from Amity University and an LL.M. in Human Rights Law from the National Law School of India Universiry (NLSIU, Bengaluru. His academic and professional achievements include appearing in two interviews for the Uttar Pradesh judicial Service Examination in 2018 and 2022, qualifying the Delhi Judicial Service (DJS Mains Examination in 2021) and appearing in the interview for the Delhi Assistant Public Prosecutor Examination conducted by the UPSC in 2021. He is also UGC-NET qualified and possesses over five years of teaching experience and having expertise in Registration, Sale of Goods Act, Partnership Act, CPC, BNSS, BSA.

SHIVANI

I hold an LL.B. and LL.M. degree from Chaudhary Charan Singh University and have over nine years of experience in teaching law. I have appeared in Judicial Services interviews in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, as well as in the Assistant Prosecution Officer IAPOJ Mains examinations in both states. I possess strong and effective expertise in Civil Law, Constitutional Law, and Criminal Law, supported by extensive academic and practical exposure.

VEDIKA RATTAN

I completed my Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.  from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in 2019, followed by a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the same university in 2020. For the past five years, I have been actively engaged in the field of legal education and legal practice, gaining substantial academic as well as practical exposure across diverse areas of law.

I began my professional journey as a Law Faculty at a Central Paramedical lnstitute, where I taught various law subiects including the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Constitution of lndia, Indian Contract Act, and other allied subjects. Concurrently, I worked under Advocate Mridut Jain, Special Public Prosecutor, CBI, practicing before the Delhi High Court.

DIMPLE KAUSHIK

Our distinguished educator brings over fifteen years of teaching experience across several reputed institutions. Holding an M.Phil. in English, the faculty member possesses extensive expertise in competitive examination coaching and is deeply committed to academic excellence and student success. Their dedication to the field of education has been recognized through prestigious honours, including the Best

Teacher Award and a Gold Medal at the school level. With a strong and proven command over examinations such as SSC, Bank PO, NDA, CDS, and other competitive tests, the educator delivers a comprehensive and goal-oriented learning experience tailored to meet diverse academic aspirations, acquired hands-on experience in legal drafting, court proceedings, case preparation, professional communication, and court appearances, which significantly strengthened my practical understanding of criminal and procedural law.

Currently, I am serving as a Law Faculty at Pahuja Law Academy, where I teach CLAT UG, CLAT PG, and Judicial Services aspirants. My teaching portfolio includes the Sale of Goods Act, Registration Act, Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO), Specific Relief Act, Constitution of India, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita(BNSS) and various other law subjects. In addition to teaching, I have actively appeared in several competitive examinations, including the Mains Examination of the Himachal Pradesh Judicial Service, the Mains Examination of the Rajasthan Judicial Service, and the Mains Examination of the Rajasthan Assistant Prosecution Officer Examination.
