The Civil Services Coaching Programme at JHRCA has been designed to prepare aspirants for all three stages of the Civil Services Examination — Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and the Personality Test. The programme emphasizes a balanced approach combining conceptual learning, structured testing, analytical skill development, and personality development.

Comprehensive academic coverage of the Civil Services Examination syllabus. (General Studies, CSAT, Essay Writing for PT and Mains).

General Studies

The programme provides structured academic coverage of major areas of the Civil Services syllabus covering both PT & Mains in respect to:

  • Indian Polity and Governance

  • Indian Economy

  • Geography

  • Environment and Ecology

  • History and Culture

  • Science and Technology

  • Contemporary Issues and Current Affairs

    Academic Coverage (Mains) is provided only in a select number of optional subjects.
     

Mentorship and Academic Guidance

Students receive continuous mentoring and academic guidance on preparation strategies, answer writing, time management, and examination planning.

 

Structured Testing and Evaluation

Regular tests and evaluation exercises are conducted to help students assess their preparation levels and improve their examination strategy.

 

Current Affairs Integration

The programme provides curated academic support for current affairs, enabling aspirants to relate to dynamic national and international developments with the basic syllabus of the examination.

 

Previous Year Question Analysis

Students are guided through systematic analysis of previous years’ questions in order to understand the evolving pattern and conceptual depth of the Civil Services Examination.

 

The Academic Team

The contextual and required lectures and interactive sessions are conducted by qualified and competent resource persons, drawn from respective fields and expertise. The coaching program, spread over a period of 10 months, is rigorous and intensive. Regular written tests are conducted to evaluate the performances of the Candidates.

In addition, personality development of the candidates is emphasized by personal support and guidance. Group discussions and debates among candidates are encouraged to develop communication skills.


 

Infrastructure and Facilities

JHRCA is located in the main campus of Jamia Hamdard at Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi. Amongst other things JHRCA has:

 

Library
There is a dedicated Library for the candidates of the academy. Newspapers, periodicals, books and written materials for various examinations are available in the library. The library is open for 18 hours a day on all days of the week. Candidates can also avail the facilities at the Central Library of the University.

 

Hostel
AC Hostel facility is provided to all admitted candidates on sharing basis. Hostel rooms are equipped with all the basic amenities. Mess facility is open to all the residents of hostel on payment. For more details visit jamiahamdard.ac.in
